Willie Waffle
Over the past 8 years, Willie Waffle has emerged as one of the liveliest, no holds barred movie critics in America. He appears weekly (but never weakly) on over 30 radio stations across the country including each coast in New York and Los Angeles to middle America's Minneapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City to sunny Miami and Jacksonville to the frozen tundra of Green Bay and more!
He is the author of Back Shelf Beauties:Movies You Should Rent When The New Stuff Is Gone, and prays for the day when Roger Ebert gives a broadcast film critic a chance to fill in on Ebert & Roeper at the Movies, since it is a TV show.
Along with Tim Gordon and Nell Minow, Willie helped found WAFCA to promote all movie critics and level the playing field in an industry where the big dogs get all of the bones. He serves as Membership Director, and welcomes all DC-based movie critics to contact him about joining the Washington, DC Area Film Critics Association.
