Matthew Razak
Matthew RazakMatthew Razak is a DC area film critic writing for the Connection Newspapers which cover the Northern Virginia area. He is a 2005 graduate of Vassar College where he majored in film. He has been an avid film goes his entire life but didn't start writing seriously about them until entering college.

Matt got his start reviewing films for his college paper and then caught a lucky break when the Connection Newspapers happened to need a film critic around the time he got a job there in November of 2005. Fate, he likes to believe, had a lot to do with it. Since then Matt has written at least two reviews a week and won a Virginia Press Award for Best Critical Writing. While his education in film is wide a varied, cheesy horror films will always hold a special place in his heart and, being a child of the 80's, action cinema is in his blood. Of course you could take every film ever away from him as long as you left behind his James Bond collection.

Matt is also an avid gamer and writes daily for ThatVideoGameBlog.com where reports on gaming news and reviews.
