Jen Chaney
Jen Chaney
Jen Chaney has overseen movie coverage on The Washington Post's Web site for nine years, which is the equivalent of 77 years in Internet time. She also has written the weekly DVD column "Bonus Points" — which appears online on Tuesdays and in the Post's Weekend section on Fridays — since 2003. When she's not obsessing about movies, she spends her time obsessing about "Lost." Which has nothing to do with movies, but she mentions it here because, well, she's obsessed.

Jen got her first big break in the film journalism biz when she wrote a three-star review of "A Christmas Story" in her elementary school newspaper. Other things to know about Jen: Bad romantic comedies make her almost irrationally angry. She has much love for Philip Seymour Hoffman, "E.T." and the adrenaline shot scene in "Pulp Fiction." And she is proud to say that George Clooney once (jokingly) called her a chicken *@!#.
