Dustin Putman
 Dustin Putman is a film critic from the Washington, DC area. An alumnus of American University, Dustin majored in Visual Media & Literature. At about the age of 8 or 9, he began rating movies, just for the fun of it. In his teens, Dustin began to write actual reviews for every movie he would see. This hobby became his passion and his life as an internet film critic took off.
Soon after, Dustin was accepted by the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) as a charter member and, in 2001, TheMovieBoy.com was born. In the years since, Dustin has gained quite a modest readership and was invited to join the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA). In September 2009, TheMovieBoy.com went through a much-needed metamorphosis and was retitled DustinPutman.com (although readers can still find the site at either address).
As of Fall 2009, Dustin has published over 1,800 full length reviews and has been quoted in print advertising, magazine articles, on DVD covers, and in television commercials.
